Job Context
- RONGDHANU GROUP, A leading business conglomerate of the country is going to hire “Head Chef” who is highly expert in Italian, Continental, Thai, Chinese and Indian food for its concern “Unique Regency Hotel” situated at Banani, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities
- Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities.
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
- Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer.
- Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages.
- Arrange repairs or new purchases of kitchen equipment when necessary.
- Remedy any problems or defects.
- Assist in hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff.
- Oversee the work of subordinates.
- Estimate staff’s workload and compensations.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
- Maintain neatness & cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Maintain hygiene of food prepared in the kitchen.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Diploma in professional chef course or other related course from BHMTTI will get preference
- Skills Required: Communication, Housekeeping, Leadership and interpersonal skills

- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Chinese Food Cooking, Continental food, Indian food, Italian Food, Thai Food
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Positive attitude.
- Training on "food safety and hygiene" from BHMTTI or foreign
- Good communication.
- Pre-Opening experience.
